Directions

From South of Plano – Take Northbound Dallas North Tollway to W. Parker Road. Turn Left on W. Parker Road, THR Plano (Presbyterian Plano) will be on your left one block west off the Dallas North Tollway.

From North of Plano – Take Southbound Dallas North Tollway to W. Parker Road. Turn Right on W. Parker Road, THR Plano (Presbyterian Plano) will be on your left one block west off the Dallas North Tollway.

Campus Directions

We are located on the Campus of Presbyterian Hospital of Plano in Medical Office Building #3.

There is free parking located in the Parking Garage to the East of the Hospital.

The Parking Garage is labeled Parking Garage 1,3

When you enter from the Parking Garage, the 3rd floor of the Parking Garage will take you across a hospital bridge (this will be 2nd floor of the hospital) Once in Medical Building #3, take the elevator to the 3rd Floor and we are in Suite #330 right near the elevators.

After Hours Phone Calls

Please try to call during office hours for any routine calls, prescription concerns or blood sugar or medication issues. After 4:30 urgent phone calls will be routed to the physician, however, Dr. Burton will not refill prescriptions after hours. There will be a $20 fee for after hour calls.

Examples of urgent after hour calls:

A diabetic with uncontrolled vomiting, inability to hold down fluids or inability to clear large ketones.

An urgent question about your diabetes care that needs to be addressed for patient safety.

Side Effect from a medication that the Endocrinologist has prescribed.

Severe illness that may require change in steroid dosing.

Holidays

The office will be closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

For life-threatening emergencies, call “911” or proceed to the nearest emergency department.
